In addition to the Chicago Booth conferences, the Polsky Center collaborates with various institutions and organizations to educate, support, and network with entrepreneurs and private equity investors. We are proud to sponsor and be affiliated with the following:

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Private Equity Conference

Private equity practitioners and academics studying the industry meet annually in the spring to merge real-world experience and research. The conference is by invitation only. For more information, please email Maureen Verchota with the University of Illinois.

Exploring Entrepreneurship Conference Series

The purpose of this year-long program is to explore a specific industry that is key to the economic growth of the region. Students, faculty, and members of the industry are brought together to study both the challenges and opportunities facing an industry’s ability to grow and maintain leadership.  The series kicked off in the 2005-06 academic year. For more information, please email Linda Darragh.

Read event coverage from the May 2006 conference on the Chicago Futures Trading Industry. Read the white paper compiled by Chicago Booth students who recommend six ways the Chicago Mercantile Exchange can promote Chicago's prominence in the trading industry.

Springboard

Springboard is a national non-profit organization accelerating women's access to the equity markets.  Programs educate, showcase, and support women entrepreneurs as they seek equity capital and grow their companies. The Polsky Center collaborates with Springboard Midwest every other calendar year.
