Dwyer Gunn

During her time at the Becker Center, Dwyer Gunn worked on projects exploring physician skill, the relationship between economic activity and AIDS in Africa, and the effect of changes in expected mortality on risky behaviors.

Gunn received a BA in economics with Honors from Wellesley College in 2006.  Her thesis examined the effects of IMF-initiated fiscal adjustments in developing countries.  She previously worked as a research assistant for Melissa Kearney of the Brookings Institute and Jonathan Guryan of Chicago GSB.

Gunn's next position will be as a research associate at the Smile Train, where she will be involved in experimental fundraising, improving the efficiency of program operations, and assisting the organization in scaling up their programs.
