Kristopher Hult

Kristopher Hult

His current research focuses on the economics of addiction, health as human capital, and industrial organization.

Hult received a BS in Mathematics with Specialization in Economics and a BA in Economics with Honors from the University of Chicago in 2007.  His thesis in Economics evaluated the relationship between addictive substitutes and won the Lawrence G. Goldberg prize for best honors thesis in Economics.

Prior to his position as a research professional, Hult worked as a research assistant to Gary S. Becker and Kevin M. Murphy.
